Sans is one of the major characters in the game and the older brother of Papyrus. He first appears in Snowdin. Introducing himself as “sans. sans the skeleton.” He has an affinity for joking around, especially making puns. When first meeting the player he prompts them to shake his hand only for it to set off a whoopie cushion.
He is also quite lazy, his brother stating this multiple times. And meeting the player when he is supposed to be doing his job.
He is both observant and apathetic at times. But also considerate and protective of those he cares about.
That charm is what I think makes people like him so much!
